“Experlogix, A Market-Leading Enterprise CPQ provider, Is Now Integrated With Dynamicweb Ecommerce To Make Ordering Complex Products Online Easy.”
CPQ and Ecommerce Join Together to Offer a Web-Based Configurator with Shopping Cart
Los Angeles, CA —Dynamicweb announced the immediate availability of a new solution based on existing products, enabling owners of the Experlogix CPQ platform to expose their configurator to their customers via a web-based portal including a shopping cart.
“We are thrilled to partner with the market leader in CPQ,” said Jorgen Bach, CEO of Dynamicweb North America. “It extends our eCommerce and Marketing platform to provide an engaging experience while streamlining the configuration of complex products. We have received a lot of excitement for the combined ecommerce and CPQ portal - especially from the manufacturing industry.”
Complex products or made-to-order products are often a challenge for eCommerce solutions to make available for customers to purchase. A configurator helps to unlock the product and parts catalog and extend its reach with a point and click interface. Coupling a configurator with a robust eCommerce platform is what Dynamicweb and Experlogix have achieved. Customers using this new system can configure made-to-order products and combine stock products into the same shopping cart. This new solution significantly reduces the time involved for engineers and technical salespeople while increasing website engagement. With a configurator, any product configuration is possible to manufacture, thanks to the many business rules and logic a configurator is designed with.
“More than ever, companies can benefit greatly from offering an eCommerce web portal as an option for their customers to order their products,” said Jeff Holway, VP of Sales and Marketing at Experlogix. “Integrating Experlogix CPQ to Dynamicweb’s platform enables even the most complex make-to-order companies to offer the same web-based shopping cart experience that has typically only been available to consumer goods companies with simple product selections. We’re pleased to be partnering with Dynamicweb in bringing this valuable capability to companies of all industries, no matter the complexity in their quote and order process.”
The key differentiators are the combination of two best-in-breed solutions already catering to the midsized to enterprise manufacturers. The Dynamicweb eCommerce platform brings many additional features that benefit the B2B eCommerce experience including support for buying teams, multiple carts, reorder capability and a built-in product information management application.
Both solutions already integrate with the Microsoft Dynamics family of products including Dynamics 365 Sales and Customer Engagement (CRM systems).
