Quality Assurance Automation Engineer (Portugal)

As a Quality Assurance Automation Engineer at Dynamicweb North America, you will lead us into our next phase of quality assurance: automation. We are looking for someone who can both lead others and get work done on their own. This position requires initiative and driving progress in all areas, not just following steps given by someone else. You must be able to work independently, but also as part of a strong team. Some required characteristics are: attention to detail, organization, responsibility and accountability. Your day-to-day work will involve working with Solution Architects, Project Managers, Developers and Customers to improve software delivery both for the standard foundation of our projects and for specific customer solutions. Quality Assurance Automation Engineer (Portugal)

Responsibilities

  • Proudly own company-wide testing methodologies and processes with goal of constant improvement
  • Thorough fluency in tools and methodologies for testing as well as the development lifecycle of software
  • Excellent knowledge of QA statistics, operations and metrics in software
  • Consistency in providing historical documentation of plans for testing, desired results, and final resolution based on best practices found within the discipline.
  • Skills to assess issues, triage and supply suggested remedies
  • Capacity to identify issues, take action to resolve and work independently when necessary
  • Analyze with attention to detail, capacity for creative solutions and drive for excellent organizational quality assurance
  • Detail oriented, analytical, and creative thinker with passion for quality processes

Experience and Skills

  • Extensive Quality Assurance with a large automation focus – minimum of 5 years
  • Strong interpersonal skills to work with co-workers and customers
  • Extensive experience with at least one automation framework
  • Preferred experience with Selenium
  • Preferred experience with Robot Framework
  • Preferred knowledge of CI/CD practices especially related to automated testing
  • Familiarity with version control systems like Git
  • Ability to pull energy from and work well in a fast-paced environment
  • Manages self and stays motivated and productive while working remote in the absence of direct supervision

Work Environment

  • Strong collaboration with our team through Slack, GoToMeeting, email, and occasionally in person
  • Travel - up to 10%
  • Service clients across North America with a vast network of international partners that span multiple time zones.
